Your Financial Wellness Journey in Nine Steps

What are the common behaviors that financially successful people make routine? In this seminar, you will be guided by a worksheet and learn the essentials for financial fitness: budgeting, spending; emergency cash; savings for a baby, a car, a house; and investment options like a Roth IRA and mutual funds. As a participant, you will gain an understanding for your financial wellbeing, how emotions shape your perspective about money, and develop a roadmap and tools to keep you on track to reach your financial goals.

About this speaker: Susan is a wellness champion who nurtures and connects with individuals and organizations who have an interest in investing in their physical and mental well-being. She has translated her career in health and wellness communications to hands-on healthcare delivery that inspires behavioral shifts through 1:1 coaching and health education.
Provider's Education: Susan earned a Master of Science in Managerial Communication from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University.
Provider's Experience: Susan served as an executive for the world's largest financial literacy nonprofit, helping people achieve economic success. She is also accredited by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Wellness Coach, National CDC Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach, Faculty Member of The Wellness Council of America (WELCOA). Susan has volunteered with the Arthritis Foundation, the United Way, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Girl Scouts, Northwestern University, Columbia College, and mentors college graduates in their career development. Susan is a certified ACSM Group Exercise Instructor and Silver Sneakers Instructor, triathlete, golfer, walking enthusiast and yoga practitioner.
