Creating A Self-Care Habit & Putting Ourselves First

It’s hard to set aside our busy lives and focus on ourselves. Intense job responsibilities, parenting, family matters, relationships, and caring for others can be a hefty distraction from our own personal well-being.
It’s not enough to just be aware of self-care practices or to implement them once in awhile, when we think about it or have free time. Creating a consistent habit of it is how they start to work on us and also how we remember to utilize them in times of stress. These can be anything from writing out what’s going on with us, meditation, regular yoga or fitness classes, breathing exercises, decluttering our homes, or even just exfoliating our skin. Anything that feels good to us is a way of caring for ourselves and with a simple mindset shift, we can start to truly put ourselves first, de-stress, and make our well-being a priority every day.

Attendees Will Learn
