Meditative Pastels

Are you looking for a creative way to meditate? Wouldn’t it be nice if your wandering mind would focus or be quiet long enough that you could relax, release a little stress and feel calmer? Meditative art classes are the perfect way for busy professionals to experience the benefits of meditation through simple, fun art experiences that can be done without any previous art or meditation skills. Using oil pastels, we'll explore Neurographic Art, connecting science with art. Neurographica® is about expression and finding your inner peace. Like Feng Sui for the mind, it's a way to visually transform your stress into something organized, calm and peaceful. No drawing or meditation experience is necessary and there are no mistakes with this fun way to relax, find flow and equanimity.

Attendees will learn: **Simple art activities using minimal tools **Visual techniques to improve attention, awareness and focus **How to release judgement and create beautiful art that focuses on the creative process vs. the final product **A fun way to meditate that is healing, imaginative and playful
