Walk-to-Run (5k) Training

Weekly group workouts, with education during the sessions, which enable participants to progress to a 5k distance (3.1 miles) of running (if implemented as a 10 week program). This program is designed for beginners, who are beginning as walkers and work their way up to running 3.1 miles. However, any level of walker/runner who would like weekly workouts and motivation is welcome to join. Each week must be booked separately. Provider's Education: Boston College, Bachelors Degree in Human Development Springfield College, Masters of Education in Health Science Certified through American Council on Exercise
Provider's Experience: Michele is an avid runner who has completed 5 marathons, including 2 qualified Boston Marathons. She has promoted physical activity, specifically the sport of running, through seminars and running clinics at corporations and organizations, and through author visits of my books, Pellie Runs A Marathon, CoCo Loves To Tri and Girls Sweat ~ life lessons through running.

Duration of event (in hour increments): 1 - 10 hours (1 hour each week)
