How to calm the mind in 2 minutes for a more focused day
Jeff Weiner, CEO of Linkedin, when asked what gives him energy, replied: meditation. 94% of adults believe that stress can contribute to major illnesses, but only 29% say they are doing a good job at managing it. The good news is, it takes 2 minutes to switch your brain from a stress response to a state of calm focus. This workshop is designed to help employees understand how stress impacts the body while orienting participants in new ways to modulate stress. The workshop will include an experiential component teaching beginners as well as more advanced students the art of meditation. Participants will go through a nourishing meditative experience and hone new skills to use regularly both in and out of the office.
