Mental Health Training for Managers
At least 1 out 10 of working adults are dealing with personal mental health issues and for the most part, these employees are successful in managing their illness to lessen the potential effects on work performance or professional standards. However, some employees may still experience difficulties at work that affect performance or manifest in workplace behavior that is counterproductive.
Attendees will Learn
-to effectively manage employees when addressing issues that negatively impact job performance
-how to increase productivity in ways that support employees who are working through their mental health issues
-ways to help employees maintain healthy working relationships with peers and supervisors.
About this Speaker
Victoria is a wellness psychotherapist bringing 15 years of psychotherapy practice to her work. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work, completed NYU’s Institute for Psychoanalytic Education, Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program, has certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Integrative Nutritional Health Coaching and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Victoria is an experienced workshop presenter with topics ranging from mental health in the workplace, increasing emotional intelligence, improving self care, teaching New Yorkers how to cope with high functioning anxiety and anything else related to mental health.
