This one-hour course is part two of the Healthy Communication Series and takes participants deeper into why we communicate in certain ways based off our natural stress responses. Jenn shares three basic stress responses, and explains how they parlay with our communication styles. This is designed to help teams and individuals take their communication and stress awareness to the next level, and gives practical tools and how to's in reaching our innate calming response that enables assertive communication.

About this Speaker
Jennifer is a Peacebuilding Facilitator who blends the integrative arts with everyday diplomacy to promote cooperation, healthy communication, and conflict resolution. She is the founder of a grassroots peacebuilding organization that uses mindfulness, storytelling, and the arts to strengthen non-violent communication and connection, reduce gender-based, racial, and cultural violence, and cultivate personal peace and well-being.
Education and Experience
- Master’s of Science degree in International Affairs, with an emphasis on Conflict Management & Global Negotiation
- Graduate certification in Post-Conflict State Reconstruction & Sustainability
