Burnout in this talk is not just about stress or lack of sleep-- it’s a state of overwhelm, apathy, and hopelessness, and futility due to misalignment. When it comes to “burnout”, the antidote is not to “unplug” but to re-connect to the individual’s “why”. Burnout is an imbalance in motivation compared to obstacles, where the cost is greater than the reward in our work.
