Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness meditation is the practice of bringing attention to the present moment by focus on the breath, and seeing what arises without bias or judgment. The benefits of the practice are the cultivation of clarity, resiliency and stability. Studies have proven that mindfulness meditation can: decrease fear, anxiety & stress, strengthen the immune system, improve focus & concentration, decrease inflammation, lower blood pressure, improve sleep, and decrease pain.

Available as 30 minute or 1 hour class.

Provider's Education: Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor
Provider's Experience: Cathy has beend practicing meditation for 10+ years. She received a teacher certification in 2020 and teaches mindfulness meditation to groups and individuals.
