Meditative, Gentle Vinyasa For All Levels

Vinyasa yoga focuses on taking one breath in or out with every movement. We inhale as we expand our bodies and energy, and exhale as we contract. The combination of movement and intentional breathing brings focus, clarity of mind, a meditative state, and moves our energy through our entire bodies. This creates the mind-body connection.

Yoga poses in a vinyasa class are not intended to be difficult or push us too far. They should be comfortable and within the limits of our personal and mental boundaries, as we do not have the time of holding a pose and easing into it. This also keeps our bodies safe from injury and keeps us from feeling frustrated when we may not be familiar with the pose being given.

This gentle class uses simpler transitions from pose to pose with the concentration on our breathing.
