Introduction to Breath, Yoga and Meditation

In this class we will explain how breath relates to over all health, how an asana based yoga practice improves your connection to breath through out your days, and finally how all of that prepares you for an optimal meditation practice.

Attendees will learn: ● Stress impacts your autonomic breathing, which negatively impacts your health in many ways. ● Breathing exercises are very accessible through out each day. In 10 breaths you can lower your stress level. ● Asana practice in yoga works to connect your breathing with each movement. This repatterns your nervous system and allows it to even out. ● Asana practice will show you where your strengths and weaknesses are, and give you opportunities to come to a more balanced place overall. ● Asana practice is intended to prepare you for meditation. Meditation has been shown to have outstanding benefits, with numerous ways to practice.
