Being Here and healing is about letting go of thought patterns that either push you into fear of the future or drag you back into regrets from the past. It also applies to anyone who is living with limitations or challenges, It is a practice in learning to not be addicted to your thoughts and to live with a greater sense of presence and deeper purpose that lead to health and wellness. Step by step guided imagery allows students to have a tool to take away, in their quest for living a life that is present, joyful, and provides you the opportunity to reach your highest potentials.

About This Speaker
Karen has been a certified yoga instructor for fifteen years and taught everything from chair to power yoga. She also teaches mindfulness, within each of her yoga classes, in addition to workshops and retreats. She has studied for the past ten years not only the art of mindfulness, but employed it in her own life. In addition, she combines the art of writing, creativity and imagination to help people reconnect with that part of them that may have gotten buried under the rubble of day to day living.
Karen has also lived with type I diabetes since the age of five, and has learned how to heal her body through movement, meditation, and breath work. Regardless if you have a chronic illness or a discomfort in your lower back, learning to be here, to heal yourself benefits everyone.
