Pranayama, Meditation and Relaxation Techniques

Praana/ayama means life-force/ liberation using our own breath to liberate ourselves from our chattering mind and from that fear-anxiety-stress loop that we get caught on. With meditation we learn to be present and aware. The present moment is the only moment that is real. Combining breathing with meditation we have two powerful tools to live a life more peaceful and healthier, and nothing else is as important as our peace of mind and our health.

-The power of our breath to quiet our mind
-The basics of meditation and how to build a regular practice
-You will also learn a few practical relaxation techniques to use in your daily life to avoid that full blown stress and anxiety mode, increasing your peace of mind.

About This Speaker

Eliseba's knowledge of anatomy and physiology was gained while getting her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy and her Masters in Exercise Science. She loves to teach the physical part of yoga in a way that the risks of injury are very low, so her students can receive the full mental and physical benefits that come with the practice.
