The Fundamentals of Movement series teaches participants how to get the most out of their workouts by ensuring their body is performing optimally. One can go through the motions of a perfectly designed workout with impeccable form, but still not get the results they want and put themselves at risk for injury.
Broken down into four parts, the Fundamentals of Movement series will tackle topics on muscle activation, flexibility, mobility and stability. Additionally, we will address how your activities outside of the gym can have the greatest effect on how your body functions. You want to build muscle, tone and lose weight, but you can't effectively achieve these goals without addressing the fundamentals first. If you want to build a house, you need to start with a foundation otherwise you'll end up with a shack! Your body is no different. Each workshop is one hour long, hands-on, involves discussion and movement. Come in workout attire.
